The ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 is set to commence on October 5th in India. The opening match will feature defending champions England facing the runners-up from the last edition, New Zealand, at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium. Apart from Australia, India will face tough challenges from New Zealand in Dharamsala and England in Lucknow, the only two teams that defeated them in the 2019 World Cup.
The match timings for the ICC World Cup 2023 are as follows: day matches will begin at 10:30 am, while day-night games are scheduled for 2 pm. The ODI World Cup 2023 will be live-streamed on the Star Sports Network in India, and all 48 matches can be streamed live on the Disney+ Hotstar app and website.
To qualify for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 semifinals, teams will need to secure 7 wins out of 9 matches. In case teams are tied on points, the total number of wins and net run rate will serve as tie-breakers.
