Prithvi Shaw

John Sadler, the coach of Northamptonshire, has heaped praise on Prithvi Shaw for his outstanding efforts in the ongoing One Day Cup. The cricketing world has been profoundly affected by Shaw’s two centuries. Shaw’s outstanding skills, hunger, modesty, and grace are highlighted by Sadler, who is clearly in awe of the right-handed prodigy.

Shaw’s amazing adventure got off to a brilliant start against Somerset. He scored a stunning 244 runs off just 153 balls, blazing his way there. Shaw made cricket history by being the first Indian to score a double century in List A on English soil.

The 23-year-old batsman continued to impress despite this achievement, scoring an unbeaten 125 off just 76 balls in the encounter against Durham. Shaw definitely establishes himself as the top run-scorer of the 50-over event with an outstanding total of 429 runs scored over four games at an impressive average of 143.

Speaking to Northamptonshire’s YouTube page, Sadler added, “Prithvi Shaw is the epitome of humility. He is respectful and gracious. He has enjoyed being a member of the group. He’s wonderful to have here, too. He is a celebrity, and his skill speaks for itself.

In my 25 years of playing this game, he is the best I’ve ever seen. He ranks among the finest when it comes to ball striking. He has been a leader in the locker room and sincerely wants to win cricket matches, Sadler said.
